What is the Law of Attraction?

The basis of the law of attraction is simple, yet powerful. It is the energetic law that whatever you focus upon is attracted towards you. Over time your life becomes a living reflection of what you spend time thinking about. Your thoughts and feelings matter. Not only do they matter, but they have real creative power.

Most people are not taught that their thoughts and feelings are a creative force.

In some cases when we are not taught this, we let fear and other negative emotions run rampant, in which case we can end up with so much in life that we do not want. Other people have more awareness that thoughts matter and only have small areas of life they want to change. In any case, no matter where you are, learning about the law of attraction can help you understand why things happen the way they do and help you create more of what you want in your life.

The nuances of the law of attraction will take you deeper than you might expect. The law of attraction responds to your energy, rather than your words. Spoken words sometimes reflect the truth of how you feel. Other times those words instead mask what you really feel. We use the word ‘energy’ to express the truth of how a person feels. Your energy is the sum of what you think, feel, expect, and believe at any one time. If a person says, “I feel great” and they really do, then you will be able to feel that from their energy. If they say, “I feel great” and they feel awful, if you are open to sensing how they feel, you will be able to feel that as well.

Learning to work with the law of attraction means recognizing how you really feel about something first. After that, you can begin to change your energy. Not by pretending you feel something you don’t, but by taking stock of where you are and gradually building up to where you want to be.
